A half-day activity that begins when you cross the Río de las Vueltas to enter Estancia Bonanza, ascend the hill where OVO is located, and do a Via Ferrata to reach OVO.
Enjoy a lunch with an incredible view of the Andes and Fitz Roy. Experience life in altitude.
- Hiking (1 hour – 2.5 km and 300 meters elevation gain).
- Via Ferrata to enter the OVO
- Lunch at the OVO
- Departure from El Chaltén at 9:30 AM, return to El Chaltén around 3:30 PM.
What the OVO experience includes:
- Transfer from El Chaltén to OVO and back to El Chaltén (12 km – 30 min).
- Activity: Trekking through native forest to the OVO summit (approx. 1 hr) + Via Ferrata experience.
- Discover the OVO Habitat: A transparent capsule 270 meters high with direct views to Fitz Roy and the Andes.
OVO offers comfortable and safe facilities for living in altitude. Each OVO includes a living room, bathroom, bedroom, and a rest net at height.

Rates per Ovo per person (double occupancy), expressed in US dollars.
VAT: According to decree #1043/2016, foreign non-resident passengers in Argentina who pay in foreign currency or with a foreign-issued credit card are exempt from paying taxes on accommodation and breakfast. However, activities and transportation are subject to VAT, which applies to 35% of the rate.
Check-IN: 9:30 AM, departure from El Chaltén.
Check-OUT: 3:30 PM arrival in El Chaltén / 2:00 PM, departure from OVO.
